APOLLO BEACH, Florida (MediaQuire) - This week, the Angels for Foster Kids Foundation fulfilled their first wish and treated a 17- year old foster girl along with her caregiver to annual passes to Sea World and Busch Gardens.
“This was a celebration for this foster girl to enjoy being a kid at this fabulous theme park before she ages out at 18 years of age and has the pressure of living on her own. She was so happy she started to cry," says Margaret Iuculano, Acting Director and Founder of Angels for Foster Kids.
Angels for Foster Kids works with organizations such as Mental Health Directives located in Clearwater, Florida and it was they who referred this foster child to "filfill a wish". According to Margaret Iuculano, "for legal and security purposes we can not provide any names of the people we help while they are in the states care."
Angels for Foster Kids Foundation will continue to monitor this foster child once she is "aged out of the system," to offer assistance to find employment or attend college and guidance in finding a home.
