FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Entrepreneur to Launch Angels for Foster Kids Foundation

Angels for Foster Kids Foundation to Open Florida Office

Tampa, Florida (MediaQuire /Angels For Foster Kids, Inc ) March 25, 2008 – Successful technology and real estate businesswoman, Margaret Iuculano has officially launched Angels for Foster Kids, a non-profit organization born to provide educational tools, scholarships and new shelters for foster children throughout the US.

Angels for Foster Kids will recruit angel investors to help raise funds and will work with other non-profits to build new emergency shelters and group homes for foster children. “In Hillsborough County alone, there are 4000 foster children and only 350 foster homes,” says Iuculano.

Using her resourceful entrepreneurial approach, Iuculano will use donations and her own money to improve the quality of life of foster children.  “Sadly, these children are often abused and in the need of basic necessities like clothing.  It’s important that we recognize they will be the next generation of leaders and they should be nurtured and provided with the same opportunities as other children,” Iuculano says.
A foster child herself for many years, Iuculano tells her story of the abuse she endured in her newly published memoir, “My God Box.”  She has pledged a portion of the sales from her book to go directly to the Angels for Foster Kids Foundation.

Through publicity-driven events, such as the upcoming “Be An Angel” fundraiser, Iuculano plans to host this black tie event not just to celebrate the debut of Angels for Foster Kids but to increase community awareness of the plight of these underprivileged children and encourage people to get involved to “make a difference.”

ABOUT MARGARET IUCULANO’S “MY GOD BOX”
It was Iuculano’s strong faith in God that helped her through the devastating and challenging times as a foster child.  She is currently working on a prototype “God Box” as a symbol of faith and a special place to put hand written prayers. “Writing down your prayers and placing them in your own “God Box” will help reinforce your relationship with God.” Every foster child who receives a scholarship will also receive their own “God Box,” which she believes is as important as financial funding.
