Victoria: Moria, it's a pleasure to learn more about you and share your gift with everyone.
Moria: Thank you.
Victoria: When did you realize that you were able to pick up on your own feelings & others? Was there a specific experience that opened you up?
Moria: It started with me having some prophetic dreams, about my own life, some 18-19 years ago, that came to pass shortly afterwards. The first time, I thought it was more fun than anything, but when it kept happening I started to pay attention to it.
Victoria: How many years have you been offering intuitive readings?
Moria: I have been giving readings for friends and their friends for about 12 years, and professionally for 7 years.
Victoria: How does your work help in guiding your client in decision making?
Moria: If my client has, for example, a choice between two jobs, then a session can give clarity into which one would be the best to go for. I also help with clients and their relationships and whether it's time to continue working or to let go and move on. Intuitive guidance can be given in many areas and a session can put things in perspective and bring clarity of mind. It can also be helpful with discovering yourself, and strengths as well as weaknesses.
Victoria: When you sense something that is wrong or might go wrong, do you always tell the client?
Moria: It depends on the person having the reading. I wish to empower my clients, help them see the positive aspects of what's currently around them and what is ahead of them at the moment of the session. Delivering "doom and gloom" news is never empowering as it can frighten a person to the extent that they will solely focus on that, ignoring other opportunities.
If I were to tell you that you might get hit by a bus if you're not watching when you cross the street, you would most likely be so focused on not getting hit by a bus that you won't see the truck that's coming.
Victoria: Sometimes a client asks about the death of a loved one. What do you tell them?
Moria: I don't answer questions about death, although there maybe special circumstances that I sense my client is ready for such information and that knowing that information helps them by spending more time with their loved one.
Victoria: What types of relationship information to you relay in your sessions?
Moria: Every session is unique; if I sense that someone in your life may not be truthful with you, I would tell you so and why. If I sense problems with a friend or colleague, I would let you know and how to best handle or avoid any possible conflicts.
Victoria: How do you deliver your news - some intuitives or psychics are blunt, others sense what their client wants to hear and can't help but relay that information.
Moria: I don't 'sugar coat' the information I recieve, so if someone is looking for a reader that will tell them nothing but what they want to hear, then I'd suggest to look for another reader.
To me, a session should be conducted with honesty and clarity and empower the client to make the choices that will benefit them the most.
Victoria: What exactly is happening when you get a 'feeling' about something orsomeone? Do you see images in your mind or do you hear voices?
Moria: I see very brief images in my mind, and sometimes I see words. Other times I can get physical feelings. For example; if a client has problems with walking or with one of their legs, I get a slight discomfort in my own leg which disappears as soon as I've gotten it confirmed from the client. However, I don't hear voices as others may do
Victoria: Care to share a client experience?
Moria: Recently, I met with a client who had never had a reading before, so she didn't know what to expect. She wanted to know if her boyfriend would come back to her. As soon as she asked me, I got a very strong feeling that he had treated her badly. She agreed and told me that he had constantly put her down mentally, but said that she really loved him and wanted to get back with him. When she said that I immediately got a visual flash of her cutting her arm, as in "self harming". It was not a pretty picture but I felt compelled to share my vision. I asked her if she was intentionally cutting herself. She told me that she had been two years earlier, but not now. I told her that I felt that I was given the information because she needed to focus on herself and her own wellbeing, instead of focusing on a person that was putting her down and that she had more inner healing to do.
Victoria: How did your client react to the information?
Moria: Unfortunately we didn't finish the session as she felt it was too "spooky" that I got such accurate information, as not even her best friends knew she had been self harming.
Victoria: Where do you get this information from, the client or the collective, or a combination?
Moria: I would say from the collective consciousness, as I do pick up on things that the client isn't always aware of, things that are yet to come. Sometimes I get information about people around the client, information that they have no knowledge about, which to me means that what I pick up on is not coming from the client as a person.
I believe we're all able to read people/energies, we just need to learn how to listen to that subtle voice, and don't dismiss it when it's there. I did a reading for a friend and got the information that she was going to get money from someone, and that it for some reason had to do with fish. My first thought was, 'that's silly!', but went with it and told my friend. Later she told me that she had been getting money from someone, and he loves fishing. So, don't dismiss what you feel, there's always a reason you got the information you're being given.
Victoria: Do you use any tools, as I Ching or Tarot cards in your sessions?
Moria: When I started offering readings I didn't use any 'tools', now I sometimes use Tarot cards as a 'trigger'. I don't know the meaning of the cards but they sometimes trigger images or feelings, so that if you were to pull a card it would trigger an image/feeling within me to relay to my client.
Victoria: How do you, as a reader, prepare yourself for a session?
Moria: I 'prepare' for a session a few minutes prior by sitting quiet for a little while, ask for the information that is most beneficial for the client at that time in their life. I also encourage my clients to prepare for the session by having their questions ready and to be open to the information they receive.
Victoria: How do you consult with your clients?
Moria: I conduct my sessions either over the phone or in person.
Victoria: What is the purpose of getting a reading?
Moria: There are many reasons a person would like a reading, anything from relationship issues, career issues, to a reading for clarity around a certain question, etc. Most people book a full reading the first time, and then have follow up sessions if and when they feel it will benefit them.

Moria: Yes, a session can be helpful by revealing areas of your life that you might not be aware of that you would be able to unleash creative ideas, or your inner strength. One of my clients told me this; "It has taken me some time to assimilate this reading and felt an array of mixed feelings about the whole thing... I must say that I have come to realize that as much as I rejected some of the things that Moria told me about myself and how I view or feel about my persona, in reality much of it is true and I learned to cover up my feelings by getting used to my protective shell."
