WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
The Information We Collect
When you visit the MQ Website, we or our Vendors collect information, including personal identifiable information that you provide, in order to provide you with the products and services you requested or with offers or promotions that may interest you, service your accounts and efficiently respond to your needs.
When visiting MQ, you may choose not to provide us with any personal information, by choosing not to register or to login. When you browse MQ in this way, we will not link your information with the account(s) you may have with us.
We or our Vendors also automatically collect some statistical data as you browse our Websites such as your IP Address which is used to connect your computer to the internet, browser type, platform, average time you spend on a webpage, information that you searched for and other relevant information regarding your online experience.
We may also use “Web Beacons” to present offers on the MQ website or other websites in which we advertise. In addition, e-mail offers that we send you may contain Web Beacons to help us record response rates, assist in measuring the popularity of our offer or enhance the relevance of e-mail offers. We sometimes use Vendors to manage our Web Beacons and the data they collect, however, Web Beacons do not capture any of your personal information that you enter on the MQ website.
We or our Vendors also also collect information that you provide via telephone, traditional mail, e-mail, in person, or otherwise.
At MQ website via special promotions that you can submit information, including about other people that you may order a gift online for that is delivered to that recipient. We may collect the recipient’s name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number for future promotions.
How We Use and Share The Information We Collect
We use your information, including the personally identifiable information that we collect about you (collectively, “information”), for various reasons, including:
- to deliver content that you have requested from our MQ Services;
- to send e-mails that you have requested to receive from MQ;
- to provide you with information, including via email, about our services, products, and features that may be of interest to you;
- for customer service purposes, such as in response to inquiries that you initiate with us about any aspect of our website or any other customer service purpose; and
- to understand how people use our Services, for research purposes, and to improve our MQ Services.
MQ may share your information with our Business Partners who may wish to offer you products or services that may interest you.
Using Your E-Mail Address
We may use your e-mail address for the following types of e-mail messages:
- Account Service Communications. We may send you communications related to MQ products and services in which you are enrolled (subscription and membership communications).
- Updates and Valuable Offers. We may send you e-mail account updates, offers for our products and services, requests for enrollment, as well as valuable offers from our Business Partners that we send you on their behalf.
- Regularly Scheduled E-mail Newsletters that you elected to receive.
You can also choose to receive other types of e-mail messages from us, including alerts and notifications.
Advertisements That Link to Our Websites
MQ hires Vendors to place our advertisements on our website and our advertisements on other websites, and to perform tracking and reporting activities to us. This enables us to learn which advertisements and websites bring users to our website and to improve the user experience. Cookies are used to assist in the user activities.

SECURING YOUR INFORMATION
We respect your privacy and use responsible and reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal identifiable information, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of such information. Your personal credit card information is transmitted through our Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software (First Data merchant processing) which encrypts your information and is never stored by MQ.
DEFINITION OF KEY TERMS
Business Partner – A Business Partner is any third party with which MQ conducts business, except that the term Business Partner does not include a Vendor, as defined below.
Clickstream Data – Clickstream Data is information that users generate as they move from page to page and click on items within a website, usually stored in log files. Website designers can use Clickstream Data to improve users’ experiences with a website.
IP Address – An IP Address is a number that is assigned to your computer automatically and required for using the Internet.
Vendor – A Vendor is any third party that performs business operations on behalf of MQ, including without limitation printing, mailing services and other communications services (e-mail, direct mail, or otherwise), marketing, data processing, customer acquisition and servicing, collections, or advertisement management.
Web Beacon – A Web Beacon, also known as a “clear GIF” (a common format for image files), is an invisible file located on webpages that you visit. They are often used in combination with a Cookie to track navigation of a site. If you visit a page on a website owned or operated by MQ that contains a Web Beacon, it communicates with your computer to determine, among other things, whether you have been to that page before or viewed a particular advertisement.
